Raffaele Vecchione, the wine critic and oenologist passionate about describing the Italian territory, stopped in Terre del Marchesato. During his visit, a mini vertical of Aldone<\/a> was tasted, our Merlot which represents a story of tradition and dedication.<\/p>\n

Aldone, first produced in 2005, is a wine that ages in French oak barriques for approximately 18 months, resulting in extraordinary complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand, with attention to detail, and the winemaking process is characterized by care and precision.<\/p>\n

Tasting the different vintages of Aldone revealed its evolution over time, with the 2016 vintage standing out as one of the best ever produced. During the tasting Vecchione also had the opportunity to taste the first vintage of “Maurizio Fuselli”, the pure Petit Verdot, discovering its personality and harmony.<\/p>\n

Maurizio Fuselli 2016 – 96 Points: Deep and complex, with well-integrated tannins.
\nAldone 2016 – 95 Points:\u00a0 Extraordinary Merlot with richness and complexity.
\nAldone 2005 – 93 Points:\u00a0 Balanced and delicious wine, even after 17 years.
\nAldone 2020 – 93 Points: Expressive and floral, with biting tannins.
\nAldone 2022 – 93 Points: Elegant and promising, with aging potential.<\/p>\n
