Marchesale 2017, from today DOC Bolgheri Superiore

Elegance belongs to this territory and it is immediately perceptible at the first sip of Marchesale, our company flagship wine. First made in 2004 as a single-variety Syrah, it has been an outstanding wine over the years for its elegance and finesse and it has improved as the vines grew older.

In 2017 the major step, Marchesale becomes DOC Bolgheri Superiore.
In accordance to the Bolgheri DOC production protocol and Bolgheri terroir ampelographic, the wine has been transformed in a blend thus combining Syrah with three more grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot
This perfect combination made an elegant, highly enveloping and amazingly balanced wine.
