The new 2020 Oil is finally available!
Thanks to the passion dedicated to the care of olive trees, the quality has never been as exceptional as this year.
The “Extra Virgin Olive Oil” obtained has an acidity equal to “0.2%” of oleic acid to guarantee the quality of the product.
Also this year the commitment in production during the year was maximum, so as to obtain healthy olives in the most natural way possible, as per our family tradition.
Being small producers, with a small olive grove, we were able to harvest the olives by hand, without damaging the branches of the olive groves, in the perfect moment of ripeness.
The collection was defoliated and placed in small boxes to preserve the integrity of the fruit.
The olives collected in this way were pressed the same day, ensuring that their freshness is maintained and then emphasizing the aromas of the oil.
The artisanal pressing was done with cold pressing, exclusively by mechanical pressing procedures, at room temperature.
The yield actually reached an average of 11.5%, low but in favour of excellent quality.
Tasting the new extra virgin olive oil:
Colour: bright emerald green.
Bouquet: Very intense and persistent, fruity, reminiscent of freshly crushed olives and mown grass.
Taste: intense and elegant, naturally rich in polyphenols which give a pleasant tingling note. Oil characterized by an extraordinary balance between the body, the spicy and the fruity.
All this work was gratified by the new look of the bottle, in black, as elegant as the oil obtained!
